If you’re like most people you’ve experienced a time in your life where you’ve felt stuck, imprisoned, or trapped.

Whether you feel pinned in a bad relationship, a job, debt, or your mind. The cycle seems to have no viable escape; day in and day out the same grueling situation.

What do you do? What are you planning to do? How do you do it, and when? Surely there is more purpose to life than this?

I was reading in the book of Exodus today, (Thus the prompt for this article), and it’s amazing how many excuses Moses threw out to God during their exchange at the burning bush. God is speaking to him through an unconsumed burning bush this alone, is astonishing!

God is revealing to Moses how he will lead the children of Israel (Moses’ kindred) out of bondage from Egypt.

Prior to Moses’ wilderness life, He was an officer and leader in Egypt. He witnessed first-hand the terrible situation the Hebrew people were in, and He even murdered an Egyptian in retaliation before he fled to Midian.

Moses hid in a dessert for 40 years herding sheep, while God’s people and his own family suffered in slavery.

It was time for Moses to stand up, and God’s people to come out.
