When it looks like you’re losing…
While driving yesterday, I saw this pickup truck with a message in the back window that read.
“Don’t let the Hard Days Win” …
He was passing me on a one-way country road and then eventually stopped directly in front of me at a light.
I don’t know if he came up with that or saw it somewhere and thought it was a great idea for a window decal, but it made me smile long after that truck was out of my sight.
Just because we have hard days it doesn’t mean we’re losing in the bigger picture of our lives. Somedays, you’re going to take an L.
I know folks don’t like to hear that, but it’s what happens. The issue is people rarely share their losses. And when you behave like you’ve always had everything figured out it helps no one.
Taking an L is necessary growth. We are human. We have limitations.
Losses help bring all those things to the surface so that we can come back better. More well-rounded and developed.
When we lose and keep going it shows other people what winning looks like.
Anyone can hold their heads up when things look good. You’re on top of the world and everything you touch is turning to gold.
