Tired of waiting?
What is the issue with patience?
No one wants to wait, for anything anymore. As a matter of fact, waiting is viewed as a negative, and not a positive. But with God waiting builds fruit, character, and spiritual strength.
Many of us are not in love with the process of being made. But if you’ve ever accomplished anything or become anything you know there is a certain amount of “making” that goes into that. No one is an overnight success in anything. We all must put our time in.
As a young believer, I use to love listening to the Mississippi Mass Choir, and one of my favorite songs by them is “I’m not tired yet”.
That song had a lead singer who was elderly, but she sang with strength and power.
She would drive that song with so much force, that I felt strengthen just listening to her!
But I was young. I had natural strength and had not gone through much. I didn’t get it back then.
From her outward appearance you could see she’d been here a while, but her inner strength overpowers the outer.
If you are tired in any capacity I want to challenge you to take a deep look at Isaiah 40:31. This scripture will teach you how to run differently.
How can you run, and not get tired?
