The Value of Mentorship
It’s hard to ignore the thousands of articles, and YouTube videos on “Let Me Show You How to Do This?” It all seems so promising that a person sitting in the seat we wish to sit in is willing to show us how they got there. But, in most cases, that will come with a steep price. I must admit I’ve been sucked into my fair share of those.
If you have any rationale, you know it’s much better to have a guide to wherever you’re trying to go. If the road is already paved, why try to pave another one? This is not to say that your walk on that path has to be identical to someone else’s. But, a good guide will get you to the destination sooner.
These days, mentorship can come with a lot of caveats, you don’t really know what they are until you check it out for yourself. Even in a world where likes and reviews hold a lot of weight, you can’t fully trust those either. It’s getting crazy out here!
So, How do we cut through all of the noise?
We silence the noise by figuring out what our individual and personal walk should be. How do we figure out what our personal and individual walk should be? By seeking the One who created it, and you.
